Trust & safety
Safety & Verification
Veyra is built around verified renters and owner approval. Here's how identity, license, and insurance documents are handled — and what Veyra does and does not do.
License & identity
Identity verification for renters
Renters will verify their license and identity before gaining full access to listings. In this early version the verification step is a placeholder — secure verification (via a provider such as Stripe Identity or Persona) is added in a later phase.
License statuses
We use “License Verified” or “Identity Verified” — never “Approved to Rent.”
Insurance documents
Collected and organized — reviewed by the owner
Renters may submit insurance documents to their profile. Veyra collects and organizes these documents for the owner or provider to review. Final insurance verification and renter approval remain the owner/provider's responsibility.
Insurance document statuses
Veyra does not provide or guarantee insurance coverage. Statuses describe document review only — never approval or guaranteed coverage.
Owner approval required
No vehicle is auto-booked. Owners review each request and choose whether to quote.
Reviewed listings
Every vehicle submission is reviewed by Veyra before it can be shown to renters.
Verified renters
Identity and license verification is part of the renter journey before full access.
